- Find the file or folder in your local Dropbox folder, that you wish to add.
- Right click and choose “Copy Dropbox Link”.
3. To add the file to a task, paste the link under Links in the task window.
4. To add the file directly onto your canvas, choose Files and Links in the Tool Box on the left side of the canvas. Choose Link and paste your link. Write a description text to explain what the file is for. You can edit the description in the edit bar once the link is added to your canvas.
If you work with deadlines, then it is possible to see your deadlines in your usual calendar. If you click your username in the header and then click My Account, at the bottom of the page you will find a calendar feed or link. If copy this and paste it into your calendar, your deadlines will show up in your calendar.
Outlook Calendar: Choose “Internet Calendar” and paste the link.
iCal: Choose “Archive” and “New calendar subscription”. Paste the link.
Google Calendar: Click the arrow by “Other calendars” and “Add by URL”. Paste the link.
Canvas Planner works in all browsers, but we recommend using Google Chrome to get the best user experience.
You can use Canvas Planner on your phone. Go to https://app.canvasplanner.com in your browser and choose “Add to home screen” on your iPhone or bookmark it on your Android phone. This gives you easy access to Canvas Planner on your home at any time. On your phone, you can add tasks, change status and add details to the tasks.
There are certain browsers and plugins/extensions, that have been known to interfere with Canvas Planner.
We recommend using Chrome for the best user experience.
You zoom in and out by clicking the + and – at the bottom left corner of the canvas.
Please note that if you are working from a docking station with your computer or laptop connected to a larger screen, the zoom function may not always work correctly. You can solve this problem by adjusting your screen resolution.
